ISLAND was Huxley's final novel and one that focuses on the East and
an island utopia which is subject to technological and entrepreneurial invasion and, hence, subversion. Not a happy picture
in the end, but then Huxley had a penchant for failed utopias, and this one is no exception. Johulin (John O'Loughlin) has
coupled it to a project of his entitled POINT OMEGA POINT - a work of aphoristic philosophy that evidently owes something
to one of Huxley's other titles. Check either of these projects out now.
