| Originally entitled 'The Transcendent Trilogy' but since renamed 'A Trilogy Transcendent', this project
by John O'Loughlin, aka johulin, embraces three novels written by him way back in 1980 at a time when the author had just
begun to embrace transcendentalism and an omega-oriented disposition that included, for him, an appreciation of certain works
of abstract art. This 'trilogy' is transcendent both on that account and because each of the novels is completely independent
of the others, whether in terms of character or plot, but nonetheless share with one another a common concern with transcendentalism,
not least in respect of art. Mr O'Loughlin has coupled this monumental project to an even more monumental one entitled 'The
Omega Quartet', four books of (mostly) free verse dating from 1982 - 85, which take the author's concern with transcendentalism
and all things omega-orientated a stage or two further. Check either project out via the links now.
