Regarding Bertrand Russell's MYSTICISM AND LOGIC

MYSTICISM AND LOGIC is an early example, culled from diverse lectures and papers, of Bertrand Russell's essayistic approach to philosophy and, like other early works by the same author, it tends towards the academic and even pedantic, notwithstanding its humanistic limitations. John O'Loughlin, aka johulin, has coupled this transcript with a project of his own entitled THE WAY OF EVOLUTION, a collection of early essays (1981) that show the influence of, among others, Aldous Huxley and Bertrand Russell.
