Although John O'Loughlin, aka johulin, had been writing poetry for a couple of years and had even had
some poems published in vanity-press anthologies, his first full volume of poetry dates from 1973-5 and was partly motivated
by an enforced change of living conditions and environment which, coming as an unpleasant shock, eventually killed off his
romantic pretensions. Click on the link below to access the eScroll draft version of this volume and perhaps consider following
this up with A MAGNANIMOUS OFFER, which dates from around the mid-70s and was the author's first volume of short prose - so
naively and youthfully 'first' as to include material of an arguably dramatic or theatrical stamp!
