Regarding John Cowper Powys' SUSPENDED JUDGEMENTS

SUSPENDED JUDGEMENTS by the great Anglo-Welsh writer and novelist John Cowper Powys is more than just a collection of essays; it is a quasi-philosophical investigation into the art of literary discrimination and of the need to suspend judgement when once we have traversed the paths that lead to the estimable likes of those whom Powys himself had chosen from the ranks of literary greats as likely to furnish the best guide to self-culture in a world besotted with self-denial and even self-destruction. John O'Loughlin has coupled this literary critique with one of his own original projects entitled LAST JUDGEMENTS, which, as the name suggests, has eschatological implications.
