THE WANDERING IRISH IN EUROPE is a wonderful book that addresses a crucial aspect of Irish historical
experience, and John O'Loughlin was motivated to personally transcribe it to his PC not only because of his own Irish ancestry
but, as with the book linked with it, because he felt the need to correct what were an unacceptable number - well over a hundred
- of typographical blunders and printers' shortcomings, with a result that the version freely available here does far more
justice to the authors than ever the original edition ever did. Check out both this and THE IRISH 100 by Peter Costello,
whose work also suffered the curse of printers' stratagems and blunders.
