The choice of what appears to be an unimaginative or uninspiring title for this volume of 'supernotational'
- or loosely aphoristic - philosophy by John O'Loughlin derives largely from the 'T'-like diagrammatic structures which characterize
it, and which enabled him to develop his theories, deriving from the Four Elements (fire, water, earth, and air), in a new
and more systematic way - a procedure that was to continue with its companion volume, VERITAS PHILOSOPHICUS, except that here,
as suggested by the title, the diagrams are rather more 'V'- than 'T'-shaped, reflecting both a change of emphasis and modification
