Despite being somewhat politically dated, R.H.S. Crossman's PLATO TODAY remains an interesting and to
some extent enlightening book, which asks some important questions and attempts to find plausible answers. John O'Loughlin
keyed it in to his PC as a 'classic transcript' several years ago and has coupled it to an original project simply entitled
SPIRALLING CYCLES, which is a collection of what he regards as abstract cyclical volumes of aphoristic philosophy, the 'abstract'
alluding to the absence of a 'concrete' title from the chapter-like cycles which characterize each of the listed works.
