This collection of 25 mainly philosophical free-verse poems, written by John O'Loughlin
in 1982, should confirm that he had considerably revised his approach to poetry since 'Dosshouse Blues' (1973-5), and the
results may well prove interesting to those who know him primarily as a philosopher, albeit a self-taught one, who occasionally
dabbles in other things, poetry not excepted. Check out this and a slightly longer volume of poetry entitled SPIRITUAL INTIMATIONS
via the links to the right, and see for yourself how poetry can sometimes serve as a substitute for philosophy.
