The six books that make up this 'sextet' of aphoristic writings by John O'Loughlin date from 2004 and
represent his philosophy at or near its peak, with a view of dialectics that adds a completely new twist to the term and exposes,
not least historically, Marxist thinking for its narrowly humanistic limitations. As does the project linked with it, THE
YANG AND ANTI-YIN QUARTET, which, written the following year, categorically establishes the criteria by which a seeming complementarity
of the genders can be established, not least at the northeast point of the intercardinal axial compass in relation to metaphysics
and what has been called antimetachemistry. Incidentally, the last book of this, Mr O'Loughlin's last, quartet is an ironic
pun on Koestler's final published book - 'Janus - A Summing Up'. Check out both major works for yourself.
