Regarding Thomas Mann's DEATH IN VENICE

John O'Loughlin saw the film DEATH IN VENICE, starring Dirk Bogarde, long before he came to read the book and, one must say, he wasn't all that keen on it, largely, we suspect, because he could not share the protagonist's romantic persuasions towards the Polish youth. However, the book is generally a good read and can be accessed via the link below, where it is coupled with one of his original projects - namely, John O'Loughlin's collected early 'multigenre' philosophy entitled THE ROAD TO SOCIAL TRANSCENDENTALISM.
