Written by John O'Loughlin, THE OMEGA QUARTET is comprised of four volumes of free-verse poetry dating
from the early 1980s and having a metaphysical bias deriving from inceptive manifestations of the ideological philosophy of
Social Transcendentalism, which the author was keen to transpose into his poetry. With symmetry in mind, he has coupled this
imposing collection of poems to eight volumes of supernotational philosophy - the 'supernotational' implying a kind of cross
between aphorisms and essays - entitled THE OMEGA OCTET, all of which date from the late '80s and signify an advancement of
the said philosophy beyond poetic guise to what was to become an increasingly aphoristic bent in the years and decades to
